PHG - Up over 40% in the pre after liability settlement and earnings report
Koninklijke Philips N.V. (PHG) operates as a health technology company in North America, the Greater China, and internationally. The company operates through Diagnosis & Treatment Businesses, Connected Care Businesses, and Personal Health Businesses segments.
Before the open of the U.S pre-market the company announced that it had resolved the Respironics personal injury and medical monitoring litigation in the US for USD 1.1 billion. Philips also concluded an agreement with insurers to pay Philips EUR 540 million to cover Respironics recall-related product liability claims.
This was a positive surprise for investors and the stock traded up over 40% in the pre-market on the news after earnings came in line as expected in Q1.
The $29.52 area acted as support in the pre-market and will be an important level to watch.
Above it, targets to the upside are $30.28, and then the pre-market high at $31.04. Beyond that $32, $33 and $35.50 come into play.
Below $29.52, targets to the downside are $28.50, $28, $27.50, $25.50, $25 and $24.20.

Arqit Quantum Inc. (ARQQ) provides cybersecurity services through satellite and terrestrial platforms in the United Kingdom. It offers QuantumCloud, a Platform as a Service that creates unbreakable software encryption keys.
In the pre-market this morning, the company announced announced the creation of the World’s First Quantum-Safe, 1.89 Tb IPsec products collaborating with Intel.
Arqit and Intel have joined forces for out-of-the-box post-quantum cryptography solutions using Arqit’s Symmetric Key Agreement Platform (SKA-Platform™) running on Intel Xeon Scalable processors. Combining Intel technologies with Arqit's SKA-Platform™ achieves high-performance IPsec encryption, protecting against quantum attacks without compromising speed.
The stock traded up over 45% in the pre-market this morning in reaction to the news.
The $0.55 area acted as support in the pre-market and will be an important level to watch.
Above it, targets to the upside are $0.65, $0.75, and $0.8166. Beyond that, $0.88, $0.92, $1 and $1.10 come into play.
Below $0.55, targets to the downside are $0.50 and then a gap fill at $0.4877 with $0.40 below that.

TSLA - Up over 10% in pre after receiving full self driving license in China
Tesla, Inc. (TSLA) designs, develops, manufactures, leases, and sells electric vehicles, and energy generation and storage systems in the United States, China, and internationally.
Before the pre-market open this morning, it was reported that TSLA had reached an agreement with Baidu to access the Chinese firms mapping license for data collection on China’s public roads according to Reuters.
The deal between Tesla and Baidul clears a final regulatory hurdle for Tesla's driver assistance system, called Full Self-Driving (FSD), to be offered in China, sources said.
TSLA stock traded up over 10% in the pre-market in reaction to the news.
The first target for bulls is the pre-market high at $188.80.
Beyond that, targets to the upside are $195, $200 and $205.
Below $188.80, targets to the downside are $185, $182.50, $180, $178 and $173.87.
